Horse Riding

There are four top class equestrian facilities close to the house, San Roque and Sotogrande are only 10 minutes away and offer hacking, flatwork and jumping lessons. Sotogrande is also renowned for its polo team and competitions are held throughtout the summer months. Polo lessons can also be arranged. Estepona is approximately 35 minutes away and offers some of the largest facilities for flatwork and jumping lessons and also hold regular dressage and showjumping competitions at weekends. Down the coast towards Tariffa is Dehesa Monteenmedio which provides lessons in eventing/cross country, showjumping and dressage.

There are a number of riding centres close to Tariffa which offer a choice of beach rides.

Wind & Kite Surfing

Further down the coast (45mins) brings you to the town of Tariffa, famous for its ‘wind’ and long beaches. The drive to Tariffa is spectacular and once there you can windsurf, kitesurf or sail. From here you can also take a trip across to Tangiers in North Africa or book onto a morning or afternoon whale and dolphin watching trip.

General Activities

The surrounding area is great for fishing, walking beach or lakeside relaxation or just a great place to get some winter sun. If you’re feeling a bit more energetic you can even go for a set or two of tennis in Alcaidesa or Sotogrande.
